Cesar | Women’s Best Friend, Too

For centuries we’ve been saying that dogs are “man’s best friend.” But that’s only half the story. So we went back to the origin of the phrase—a famous courtroom speech delivered by George Vest in 1870—and used those words to tell the true stories of 7 real women and their best friends. For a launch on International Women’s Day we partnered with The Dogist to capture women and their dogs, and The Huffington Post to highlight outdate, male-centric phrases that also should be reconsidered.
